Strike One Academy is the home of the Strike One Silverkings Baseball Club. The Strike One Silverkings Baseball Club in a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in the fall of 2014 to make a difference in the lives of young baseball players. We strive to teach life lessons on and off the field utilizing the game of baseball and the ups and downs that comes with playing this wonderful game. Quality baseball being taught by quality coaching has been our consistent model. The main objective within the Silverkings organization is to focus on hard work and individual skill development, learned both physically and mentally. We utilize the Strike One Academy facility for all indoor practices (no rain outs here) and Interbay Little League, Carol Kennedy Field (Tampa Bay Little League) and Palma Ceia Little League for all field practices.

Fall 2021

The Silverkings Baseball Club is in the midst of their Fall 2021 season. The 10u team has competed in 5 tournaments so far with 1 more to go. The 10u Silverkings has placed in 2 tournaments thus far and additionally Won the USSSA Homerun Slugfest (Open Division AA, AAA, Major teams) on 10/30/21. The 10u Silverkings just participated in their first Perfect Game Event and made it to the Sunday Bracket Play tournament against some of the best competition not only in Florida, but in the South Eastern part of the United States.

The 9u Team has played in 6 tournaments so far and have drastically improved this fall. Basically a new team this fall, the 9u Silverkings have started to come together in the recent weeks to bring home some hardware in a second place showing at the GSA Halloween Havoc Super Regional. The 9u Silverkings managed by Coach Zach Rose have a few more tournaments left this fall season and will be striving to win some of those coveted championship rings.

Spring 2021

The Silverkings Baseball Club competed at the 8u and 9u levels this past spring. The 8u team was a developmental team that competed in 24 kid pitch games. This team afforded every player the chance to pitch at the travel ball level and learn how to hit off of a live arm from another player, not coach pitch or machine pitch. The 8u team was able to triple the amount of wins they had from the previous season. Each player was able to get better in some aspect of baseball, which is what this team was designed to accomplish. We would like to thank the law firm of CLark /Martino for sponsoring our navy shirts for 8u Silverkings spring season. www.clarkmartino.com

The 9u Silverkings team had a very successful season with a record of 23 wins (including two tournament championships at the AAA Level) and 9 losses with 1 tied ballgame. The 9u team concluded their season with a tournament victory at the USSSA Memorial Day Battle at the Beach (AAA) which was held on the beautiful all turf fields at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, FL. The 9u team competed at both the 9u and even up at the 10u level this past spring. The 9u team got a big head start on the competition when it came to learning open bases (leading off and stealing on the pitcher).
